Mario Kart Tournament

The Northstars held a Mario Kart Tournament this winter. It’s always hard to find something to do indoors but still find a way to include the values of the Princess Program.

The best we could do was a tournament, pitting father against daughter. While that may sound like it goes against the idea of “friends forever,” a little healthy competition can go a long way in making lasting memories.

We had three TV’s going so we could move quickly through the brackets. It was great to see the girls cheering each other on when it wasn’t their turn.

We had a great space to set up in. The community room at one of our members apartment complex was perfect. The adjoining conference room was great for eating pizza after the matches. The shuffle board was a huge hit (and a huge mess).

We also did this as a last hurrah for our Haloween costumes. We gave the girls one last reason to bust out those costumes and show off to their friends. There were lots of K-pop Demon Hunters, a princess, Red from Descendants and more.
